Ryan is a business-to-business journalist with nearly seven years of experience covering diverse and niche industries. In her role as senior correspondent for FoodNavigator-USA, Ryan covers the entire food and beverage supply chain, with a keen focus on novel ingredients, emerging consumer trends, new product launches, and the intersection of technology and food.

Before FoodNavigator-USA, Ryan spent three and a half years as a tech reporter covering the area of communications and collaboration and assisted in the planning and execution of the annual Enterprise Connect event. She also served as an editor for Perfumer & Flavorist magazine, where she extensively covered the flavor and fragrance industry. She holds a Master of Arts in Writing and Publishing from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Northern Illinois University.
