John is the vice president of packaging sustainability at the Consumer Brands Association, which represents the makers of America’s food, beverage, household and personal care products. He has expert knowledge of the recycling system and extensive association, political and agency experience handling state and federal policy. John previously served as special counsel to the Secretary and general counsel at the California Department of Food and Agriculture, following his work at the California Farm Bureau, where led strategic water quality initiatives. He has also sat on several non-profit boards and was an elected school board member for nearly 12 years.
